Pakistan UEPW 99MW Wind Power Project

Under "The Belt and Road" initiative of the National Development Strategy and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce and The National Development and Reform Commission etc., United Energy Group (UEG) is actively engaged in the development, construction, and operation of clean energy projects. UEG established the 99 MW UEP Wind Power Project in the Jhimpir wind corridor of Pakistan's Sindh province. It is the single largest wind power plant in Pakistan. Construction of the plant commenced in January 2016, with commercial operations beginning on June 16, 2017. The wind power project is among the 14 top priority, early harvest projects of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Iraq: Al-Faihaa Oil Field - Block 9,2.5MWp+2.5MWh Off-grid Solar Power Project

In line with the Government of Iraq's commitment to developing the clean energy sector and reducing carbon emissions, UEG has invested in a 2.5 MW off-grid solar power station in the Al-Faihaa oil field in Block-9. The project achieved its provisional acceptance on May 24th, 2022. It is the largest off-grid solar PV hybrid power project with a battery storage system in Iraq, marking a significant step forward in transforming the country's energy landscape.

Bulgaria: Poly-Sime 250MW Photovoltaic Project

On March 29th, 2024, United Energy Group and Bulgaria's Green Profit participated in the signing ceremony of the equity acquisition agreement for the Poly-Sime 250MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Sofia, Bulgaria. This project is currently the largest individual photovoltaic project in Bulgaria, with an estimated total investment of nearly 300 million euros. This acquisition represents a significant step forward for UEG in Europe's clean energy sector and will further promote Bulgaria's energy transition and sustainable development.
