UEP daily production broke through 90,000 barrels In this wonderful autumn of October, UEP hit a record high in its daily production that is over 40% higher than the historical level before the project takeover. Good results were achieved in 2015 in MKK main exploration block and -Badin block thanks to implementation of operational excellence initiatives.

Naimat Phase 5 surface project built at MKK main exploration block achieved, through commissioning and improvement, safe operations at full load on August 27th, which enabled transformation of the high reserves at Naimat West Gas Field into a stable daily production of 26,000 BOE. In May, a surface pipeline system was put into operation in support of exploration of the newly acquired Salamat-Rajani Block, and its daily production was step by step increased to 24000 BOE, providing a guarantee for MKK main exploration block to exceed 72000 BOE in its daily production. The newly made exploration achievement in the middle graben of the Badin block has allowed the daily production of new wells including Kumbl-1 to reach 3600 BOE, providing a solid support for a steady and the increase of production in the Badin block. .Finally, the expert panel also provided further workable technical guidelines on methodology of gas field estimation, providing a powerful technical support for UEP to bring its self-estimation to a higher level and for successfully interfacing with external estimation.
