Attended Pakistan Oil and Gas Expo

Third from left: Song Yu, Vice President of UEG, fourth from right: Tariq, President of UEP Pakistan Oil and Gas Expo was successfully held in Islamabad, Pakistan recently. Organized by the Petroleum Institute of Pakistan, the Expo gave a summary on the growth at Pakistan’s oil and gas sector, and touched upon some of key topics on the agenda. UEP attended the seminar as the main sponsor.

The Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (PIP) is an industry advisory body committed to promoting development of the oil and natural gas sector in Pakistan, and UEP President Mr. Tariq serves as vice chairman of the Institute. 。

UEG Vice President Song Yu was invited to the seminar, and he along with UEP delegates engaged in friendly exchanges with government officials and other attendees. At the conference site, the artistically designed setting and exhibit that UEP put out there got a lot of attention from many attendees.

At the conference, Mr. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Minister of Pakistani Petroleum and Natural Resources Ministry met with UEP delegates, and he expressed appreciation for the rapid growth achieved by UEP and its commitment and contributions to ease Pakistan’s energy crisis.
