United Energy Group Holds the QPR Meeting of 2Q 2018

On July 16, 2018, United Energy Group (UEG, the “Group”) held the Q2 2018 meeting on the Pakistan project at the headquarter in Beijing. This meeting was for reporting and summarizing the operation of the Pakistan project in the first half year of 2018, and making arrangements for and looking ahead to the work plan of the second half year as well as the medium-long-term planning of the Group. Zhang Hongwei, Chairman of Board of Directors presented at the meeting, other attendees included Zhang Meiying, Executive Director, Meng Muyao, Expert Consultant to the Chairman, Zhu Junfeng, Chief Executive Officer, management teams from Beijing and Pakistan offices and some technical personnel of the group.

The Beijing management team acknowledged the work completed in the first half year for the Pakistan project, and pointed out the orientation in exploration & exploitation, shale gas project, production, management & operation, cost control and future development planning, and made arrangement accordingly.

Zhang Hongwei, Chairman of Board of Directors, gave his remarks in investment and operation, on-site management of oil field and development of shale gas. “United Energy Group has entered a new historical stage in 2018. In the first half year, United Energy Group acquired two projects, AMOL and OMV. As its business expands continuously, United Energy Group shall ensure the scientific and effective implementation of existing projects. Meanwhile, it should restructure the organization, optimize staffing structure and pursue the first 5-year target, namely achieve annual production of 20 million tons. The Group will strive to develop itself into a medium-sized international oil company, thereby attaining its goal for the present stage!” commented by Chairman Zhang.
