On August 21st, on behalf of UEG’s management team, Mr. Zhu Junfeng, CEO of UEG, expressed his festival greetings to UEP employees and wish them a Happy Eid ul-Adha Holiday.

Happy Eid al-Adha Day.

2018 nearly passed two third. In this year, we continue to strive in business development and maintain leading Independent Oil Company position in Asia. In the last few months, UEG has received a number of remarkable achievements.

In Pakistan, we have successfully acquired OMV Pakistan subsidiaries OMEL & OPAK and added additional 450 family members. We also drilled 3 Shale Gas wells and become a pioneer unconventional gas developer in the country. UEG is truly merit its name as the largest Independent Oil Company and Chinese Investor in Pakistan.

In Iraq, we have won the Sindbad Block Technical Service Contract in Iraqi 5th Oil and Gas Bidding Round. This has opened the new Era of UEG. More momentously, this brings UEG genuinely as a multiple countries operated E&P Company. Foreseeable, we will duplicate our success Pakistan operating experience into Iraq with our Pakistan employees’ unwavering support.

In coming days, we will continue to drive the value on an axle with two wheels: maintain high level Exploration & Production activities and high appetite for exploring new opportunities. Our long term strategy and beliefs enable us to strive forward without distraction. Beside in these days, the industry has been warmed up by the increased Oil Price. UEG is on the fast track to enforce our mid-long term plan. Let’s share this positive energy with all of our colleagues, our partners, our loved ones.
