UEG Holds 2023 4Q&FULL-YEAR Performance Review
United Energy Group (UEG) conducted a virtual performance review for the fourth quarter and the entire year of 2023 on January 25, 2024. UEG's Chairman, Mr. Zhang Hongwei, the management team from Hong Kong and Beijing, and all asset teams actively participated in the meeting. A prior preparatory meeting in Hong Kong, attended by the headquarters and asset management, played a crucial role in ensuring a successful performance review.
During the performance review, each asset team presented their production and operational performance from the past year, highlighting achievements and thoroughly analyzing risks and challenges. The management team provided valuable feedback on the asset teams' reports and established the work plan for 2024. UEG's assets in Pakistan, Iraq, and Egypt achieved their targets in the previous year while ensuring strong safety performance.
UEG's Chairman commended the efforts of the company's employees in 2023, resulting in outstanding performance for the Group. He provided strategic instructions for the upcoming years, emphasizing the significance of 2024 as a critical milestone in achieving the goals of the 2027 five-year plan. UEG's Chairman said in the new year, we will continue to enhance our HSSE and ESG frameworks.We will focus on a dual strategy of "asset management and asset operation" to quickly improve operational performance.
