In the holy month of Ramadan, a time of reflection, self-discipline, and empathy, Kuwait Energy Basra Limited (KEBL) has taken a step forward to embody these values and extend its support to the communities living near Block-9, in Al Zraiji village. Through its Social Welfare initiatives, the company has generously donated 1000 food baskets (around 19 tonnes) to communities near its area of operations, each filled with essential food items that families need during the fasting month.
By distributing food baskets, KEBL contributes to community welfare and supports the less fortunate, aligning its actions with the spirit of Ramadan. Moreover, KEBL understands the importance of family bonds and community spirit, both of which are significantly emphasized during Ramadan. Families come together to break their fast, share meals, and engage in spiritual discussions. By providing food baskets, KEBL is indirectly fostering this unity, enabling families to come together and share meals without the worry of food scarcity. The donation also extends beyond families, promoting a sense of community spirit. As families of Al Zraiji village invite neighbours, friends, and extended family members to share Iftar meals, the food baskets' impact multiplies, reaching more people and strengthening community ties.

EGYPT: Ramadan Blessing Box Packing Event
United Energy Egypt has always attached great importance to community building and feedback. As Ramadan approached this year, the team came together to embark on a heartwarming initiative: packing Ramadan care boxes in order to be distributed in the premises’ surrounding community and Ras Gharib city. The initiative is powered by Uni+ employees Volunteering Program under the umbrella of “We value”.
